Day One, Phase One.

As I've been browsing the web, I have come across some pretty awesome food blogs. They always have great recipes or crafty things to do and are (for the most part) kind of fun to read and experience.

Also, I have kind of been prone to posting my baking excursions on other networking sites and I think some my friends are getting kind of bored. However, I do still get people asking me for recipes and whatnot. Thus, I have decided to create a food blog of my own.

Since I didn't bake anything today, I have decided that this will just be an introduction to the blog itself as well as my intentions.

The title "Mouthgasm" actually didn't come out of nowhere. Usually when I bake delicious treats, I bring them into work. I was sitting at work one day with a batch of Red Velvet mini cupcakes which I had affectionately entitled "cuppy cakes." My coworkers and I were discussing them and I explained to them how one day I would like to open a bakery and only sell mini-cupcakes. I would call the bakery "Cuppy Cakes" and the mini-cupcakes would also be named "cuppy cakes." Much to my dismay, there is already a restaurant with that title.  My boss, who overheard the conversation, said I should pick a name that's more risque, and "Mouthgasm Mini-cakes" was born. (Or at least in my mind it was.)

So, I bought a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer (red, my favorite color) and have used that thing more times then I can count. If you are serious about baking, and you don't already have one you need to fork out the 300 bucks.
